WEAKNESSES: He hates fire and intense summer weather/the sun. Also, he tends to be overly emotional, and has something of a weak constitution. (Read: Low HP) He gets depressed easily when left alone, and has a bit of a dependence on others to be his friends. He can also be a bit paranoid, and always feels like everyone is going to betray him, somehow.
STRENGTHS: While he may not be very strong or durable, Tamon has a strong sense of logic, and would have been moved up a grade had he not chosen against it due to fear of being bullied due to his academic prowess. He's very loyal to the friends he has, even if he thinks they aren't the same to him, and has a sort of insane happiness following him around at all times, like a cloud of sparklies. The wind has never seemed to bother him that much.

PERSONALITY: Tamon appears to be a particularly joyful young man, despite the lingering fears always tugging at the back of his mind, tends to come off as almost happy-go-lucky, an atmosphere of frivolity trailing his steps. While he may not be quite so carefree in reality, he's pretty close, and is quite good at consciously forgetting about things troubling him. He doesn't have many friends, due in part to the fact that he's a straight A student, and in part to how he seems to operate on a different, considerably more abstract plane than others. Really, his moods come in swings, but they're more often silly swings than anything else, and he exaggerates in an attempt to make others laugh.

He puts all of himself into everything he does, though, and "lazy" is one of the last words anyone would say about him. Especially due to overbearing parents and his paranoia, he puts a holistic effort into studying and making friends, though the effect mainly serves to feed the source of said paranoia, unfortunately, as people quietly distance themselves from him.
BACKGROUND: It was an odd day, indeed, the day Tsutomi Higashikawa (now Tsutomi Cole) met Lance Cole. The aforementioned woman, born and raised in Japan's Shibuya prefecture, had taken her company up on a trip to Canada. For business reasons, of course. There, at one of seemingly endless meetings, she saw a certain man, and her heart seemed to skip a beat. This was an unfamiliar feeling for the "ice queen", who'd never taken a man up on an offer, even in high school. Funny that she should feel so for Lance, a young businessman a couple years younger than Tsutomi herself, and upon a bit of talking, a few dates, and quite a few drinks, the two married and had a son. In quick succession.

By the time little Tamon was around two, however, Tsutomi began feeling a bit homesick. She and her husband conspired to move back to Japan, despite language barrier for poor Lance, though...things would not be so good back in Shibuya, where Tsutomi's business tactics had left her quite a few enemies willing to do cruel things to get back at her. Thus, they decided on Iwatodai, near the lovely Port Island and Gekkoukan school.

Tamon grew up to somewhat strict parenting, as they knew he had quite a bit of academic ability, and chose to push him to do everything, despite his...physical ineptitude. A year of soccer hell was quite enough for poor Tamon, though, and he quit immediately after, choosing instead to pursue his schoolwork. If he received so much as an A-, there would be yelling, so he became a tad terrified of even slight failures, a trait that carries over even today.

As he grew, he became somewhat less shy, and tried to impress and entertain people in an almost desperate plea for friendship, though, as previously detailed, this mostly caused people to shy away from him, thinking themselves not quite in his league. Whatever that meant for each of them. But his life was comparatively normal until approximately a week and a half ago, when, while walking out to the convenience store to pick up some soda, the clock struck midnight and everything started bleeding. There were coffins, and green, and it was all rather disorienting. And quite distressful.

Since then, he's been very careful to fall asleep early, so he doesn't become the victim of such cruel "hallucinations" again.
